The exhibition centers around the concept of creating a portal between the real world and a fictional world of storytelling, inspired by the local oral tradition "Karingana Wa Karingana."
Introducing a fascinating array of new characters and beings from the realm of fiction. The storytelling is brought to life through a powerful and engaging performative presentation that incorporates music and dance.
The exhibition draws its inspiration from the fascinating concept of Afrofuturism, which is a cultural movement that combines elements of African culture with science fiction and futuristic themes, with this project I wanted to bring these two worlds, weaving a magical narrative that transcends time and space.
