I took these series of photos in 2020 in Bagamoyo, where I grew up, one of the outskirts of Maputo, in Mozambique.

Growing up, these local low-income Taylors were our unsung heroes, stitching, making and fixing our school uniforms with meticulous care. In our community they earned our utmost respect for their invaluable contributions and expertise.
